On the anniversary puja of Kyapje Tsikey Chokling Rinpoche, at Do-Ngak Ling, our lamas and monks performed the practice of Red Vajrayogini, known as Kusum Rigdu.

According to Jamgon Kongtrul, the great treasure revealer Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, Pema Osel Do-Ngak Lingpa, received a pure vision on the 15th day of the eleventh month of the year of the Iron Horse. In this vision, he personally traveled to the Lotus-Covered Buddhafield—and received from Bodhisattva Lotus-Sprout, indivisible from the great treasure revealer Chokgyur Lingpa—the nectar-like transmission of the sadhana, empowerment and instructions.

The Kusum Rigdu Puja is a Guru Yoga practice of Chokgyur Lingpa. In this practice, the principal deity is Red Vajrayogini. In this practice, the three kayas—Dharmakaya, Nirmanakaya, and Sambhogakaya—are seen as one.
