AKARA Collection

Producing handcrafted spiritual items while dedicating profits to humanitarian and Dharma-preserving initiatives.

AKARA, inspired by the Pali term for “mine of jewels,” is dedicated to connecting practitioners with Buddhist teachings through items imbued with spiritual meaning, such as malas, thangkas, and statues. Founded in 2006, AKARA’s mission reflects a commitment to traditional Buddhist values, helping practitioners deepen their Dharma journey through authentic tools that support meditation, prayer, and ritual.

Central to AKARA’s approach is the integration of sacred arts and holistic practices, where each product not only enhances spiritual practice but embodies blessings from the land of the Buddha. The collection includes lifestyle items that reflect the beauty of Buddhist teachings, serving both dedicated practitioners and spiritual seekers in nourishing the spirit and mind.

All profits from AKARA support charitable initiatives of the Chokgyur Lingpa and Samye Foundations, focusing on educational and healthcare programs, the preservation of sacred sites, and the preservation of traditional arts. Through these efforts, AKARA strives to make a positive impact on society while empowering communities in alignment with Buddhist principles.
