Samye Hermitage Rio

Nestled in the mountains of Brazil, Samye Rio is a growing retreat center under the guidance of Kyabgön Phakchok Rinpoche. Originally known as Amrita Mountain, the land was consecrated by Rinpoche in 2015 and has since blossomed into a place of practice and gathering — complete with a newly consecrated temple. Samye Rio offers retreats and a welcoming space for practitioners to deepen their connection to the Chokling Tersar lineage.
